Charter Commission Candidate Questionnaire Responses
All balloted (and one write-in) candidates for Detroit Charter Commission were sent candidate questionnaires. Care was taken to confirm that they received them.

“Definitely” and “Always” responses are represented as green check-marks on green backgrounds… as was a “Yes” response to the affirmation and the commitment to keep all police commissioner oversight powers.
“Probably” and “usually” responses are represented as green check-marks on yellow backgrounds… as are was a commitment to keep most police commissioner oversight powers.
Weak agreement and “Sometimes” responses were represented by question marks on yellow backgrounds… as was a commitment to keep a small amount of police commissioner oversight powers…
The lack of agreement with D.R.A.C.O. principles was represented with a white “X” on a red background. This included omitted answers, “Probably not,” “Definitely not,” and “Never” responses… as was a “No” response to the affirmation and the lack of a commitment to keep police commissioner oversight powers.
“Other” responses were interpreted as being elaborations on any of the above levels of agreement and were represented as such.
